When we first arrived at camp on Monday, two counselors immediately called Wells by name. He was delighted and I was very impressed.
My Daughter loved camp. She said is was the best days of her life. Keep up the good work.
My daughter loved the goal setting part of your camp. She couldn't wait to come back so she could work the various activities and receive her awards at the end of the week. Her favorite was riding Jet and playing grand canyon. We will be back next year!

CAMP AWARDS CEREMONY
Every Friday at 3:45
Each day throughout the week, campers work on a theme related skit or presentation to display the skills they've learned during the week. The skit is performed at the award ceremony.
All campers receive a participation medal for the summer.
Ribbons are awarded to campers who have achieved their goals. There is a different ribbon for each core area.
The Edventure Camp "Master" program is designed for campers who are very focused in a specific area. A "Master" is someone who completes all components of a particular goal sheet. Becoming a "Master" is not an easy task and cannot be accomplished in just one week. Campers reaching the "Master" level are given a trophy for their accomplishment.
Counselor In Training (CIT) Program
This program is for 12- 13 year olds, (7th and 8th graders), those kids who are in the transition years between being a camper and being an employee. The CIT program offers kids an introduction to the camp work environment while affording them the opportunity to also be part of camp activities. CITs will learn skills that will carry over into the Junior Counselor position and other future employment. This is the beginning,..a training program for future camp counselors.
All prospective CITs must fill out an application, and attend the training/orientation session on June 5, 2010, before being accepted into the CIT program.
In order to give the CITs the best training experience possible, there is a limit of 12 CITs per each week of camp.
BENEFITS OF THE CIT PROGRAM:
* The CIT program gives highly motivated 12-13 year olds on-the-job training in a fun environment.
* The program is designed for peer bonding and personal development.
* CITs are given the opportunity to develop leadership skills, and improve their personal goal setting and motivation.
* The CITs day is filled with camp activities, job responsibilities, and plenty of time for hanging out with friends
