Where can I find an after-school program near me? We are an after school program where kids are physically active rather than using screens and electronic devices. At the after school Ed-Venture Kids Center at Spirals, kids get to jump on trampolines, practice gymnastics skills, play outside, and participate in team challenges and group activities. Healthy snacks are furnished daily along with homework assistance. Students are supervised at all times by our professional staff in our state-licensed programs.

Here are Spirals we are dedicated to active learning, and feel that it is essential for your child's mental, and physical health! When kids enjoy an activity, they want to do more of it. Practicing a skill — whether it's gymnastics, swimming, or group physical activites — improves their abilities and helps them feel accomplished, especially when the effort is noticed and praised. These good feelings often make kids want to continue the activity and even try others. This philosophy is shared here at Spirals.

Our Passion

Founded in 1982, Spirals is built around a passion for seeing chidren succeed in sport and life. The US Physical Activity Guidelines recommend that children should have 60 minutes or more of physical activity per day. However, today's sedentary, screen-based lifestyle means very few actually achieve this.

Our Goals

Exercise brings rewards in self-esteem, confidence and mental and physical ability. Children naturally build strength, stamina and resolve when they run, jump and play. Spirals' goal is to help all our students achieve basic healthy goals and to do so through an active and fun curriculum.
